20.7.10 Village of Shastaan

Once a peaceful fishing village (though, admittedly, with rumors of slave-trade and an unsavory leader), Shastaan was located just east of Arbothia, tucked daintily against the eastern shore of the continent.

However, when Saayer convinced the Magi to assist him, the ocean reclaimed the many lives it had sustained for many years. A tidal wave rose over Shastaan, destroying hut, home and inhabitant and flooding the highway leaving the city cut off for several months. As the water levels lowered, dozens of bloated corpses of Shastaan villagers were discovered. The vortex which created the tidal wave remains just off of the village's eastern shore, occasionally regurgitating parasitic monsters who now nest in the once-beautiful town.
