15.14 Triggers and Automation
Triggers and automation are allowed in Aetolia provided that you are present at your computer terminal at all times. FULLY automating quests and hunting - with movement and all actions included in the triggers - are allowed so long as one is present at the computer, as well as gambling automation. To reiterate: Automating ANY activity that generates gold, experience, or resources of any kind while not paying attention is explicitly NOT allowed. This includes fishing, hunting, questing, or any other similar activity. Should you be contacted by an administrator if it is suspected that you are automating activities whilst AFK, you will have approximately thirty seconds to respond directly to that administrator before you will be considered to have been in violation of this regulation. If you are concerned that your triggers may be in violation of this policy, remember that the general expectation is that your character's actions are driven by the input of you, the player. To be explicit: The intention is that you, the player, are controlling your character. Not someone controlling your behavior via triggers. Even if you're not gaining, your character should be being played, not a bot. As with all of Aetolia's rules, falling afoul of this one can and will result in administrative action, up to and including permanent loss of your character.
