23.1.5 Iron Coins
Iron Coins are a special currency from the distant past that can be used to purchase unique items from Qeddwyn's artifact shop. These coins can only be obtained during special purchase promotions, or by becoming an Iron Elite Member. Iron Coin items --------------- Sometimes, you will obtain a stack of 10 Iron Coins as an actual item. POLISH IRONCOIN to convert that item to proper Iron Coins. Bloody Iron Coins ----------------- Bloody Iron Coins are those which have been bound to you, and cannot be traded. When purchasing an Iron Coin artifact, you will first need to convert the required Iron Coins to Bloody Iron Coins. Iron Coin Artifact Gifting -------------------------- You may purchase Iron Coin artifacts as gifts for another player, but must do so with Iron Coins and not Bloody Iron Coins. See HELP GIFTS for more information. Syntax ------ IRONCOIN BIND <x> WITH BLOOD - Converts <x> amount of your Iron Coins to Bloody Iron Coins, as above. - THIS IS IRREVERSIBLE. IRONCOIN REPORT - Prints out a report informing you of how many Iron Coins you possess. IRONCOIN TRANSFER <x> TO <target> FOR <y> <GOLD|CREDITS> - Sell your Iron Coins to another player for gold/credits. - Specify <y> as 0 if you wish to give them away for free. - Note: Bloody Iron Coins are bound to you and can't be transferred. IRONCOINS FOR SALE - Displays current gold offers for iron coin sales. Transferring rules ------------------ Transferring Iron Coins between your characters shares the same policy as transferring credits between your characters. That is, you can transfer them to your alternative characters so long as that the coins were obtained OOCly (e.g. credit sale bonus or membership reward) and not obtained ICly (buying from another player, winning an event, etc).
