23.2.3 Artifact Tradeins
ALLOWED TRADE-INS ----------------- Nearly all artifacts can be traded in, however only the owner of the artifact can do so. DISALLOWED TRADE-INS ------------------- Houses and pets may not be exchanged. Artifacts purchased with black iron coins cannot be traded in. Artifacts purchased in auctions cannot be traded in. TRADE-IN VALUES -------------- The trade value given for a value is 2/3 of their CURRENT COST. Artifacts whose efficacy are nullified by changes to skills or any other system will be refunded at a 75% rate, excepting any purchases made within the previous two months, which will be refunded at a 100% rate. Unless a public refund of a different amount has been announced by the administration, do not ask for or expect a full refund unless an announcement has been made. The trade-in value does not include any credit for customizations. This means that any custom tweaks (such as description modifications) you had made for your artifact will not be credited toward the tradein. COMMANDS -------- ARTIFACT (artifact) VALUE. This will show the current value on an artifact and its tradein value. Any powers listing 'N/A' for its tradein value cannot be traded individually. ARTIFACT (artifact) TRADEIN. This command will trade in the entire artifact (including all powers on it). You will be asked to confirm this. ARTIFACT REMOVE (property) PROPERTY from (artifact). This will trade in an individual power or upgrade of an artifact. You will be asked to confirm it. If it is the last power on the artifact, the artifact itself will be destroyed. You can purchase an upgrade as listed in HELP ARTIFACT PURCHASES. ARTIFACT REMOVE (tattoo) TATTOO FROM ME This will remove an artifact tattoo from your body. You will be asked to confirm it.
