Inanity and absurdity

Neoma,
What inanity. What absurdity.
If this is the summit of your ambition, then I weep for the Lord of Tyranny who must endure such mediocrity in His name. Scattering trinkets across the land as if they carry the weight of true authority is no demonstration of dominion - it is tantamount to the spraying of un-neutered strays of Tasur'ke seeking to mark territory where no claim exists. Is this what passes for sovereignty now? Icons, left to rust and fade, as a false imitation of genuine influence?
Your endeavour reeks of desperation, not strength. A true display of power demands purpose, precision and vision - not this aimless littering of symbols. You declare this an act of spreading His influence - but to what end? To impress the masses? To cow your enemies? Evidently neither has occurred. Influence is not built on baubles, nor is it earned by posturing. It is carved by deeds that cannot be ignored; by acts that reshape the world itself.
If this is all you have to offer, then spare us the pretense. Leave ambition to those who understand its true meaning and have the will to see it realised.
Ever embarrassed,
