Regent Elene,
Whatever respect I had for you is gone. If I had even a sliver of it after I read your post, I might consider putting forth the effort in finding whomever grew bored and decided to draw on your soldier's faces. If it even happened. Imagine entire bands of troops just standing there while someone took paint to their faces. Ridiculous. Honestly, am I back in the crowd at the Djeirani circus?
Ah yes, I'm dealing with the North.
You have always been an effective hound mistress, even when you graced our caverns with the pitter pattering of your little feet. Yes, once upon the Spiral's descent you were my Dudaveti and I was put to task to clean your dog pit and care for your hounds.
No longer am I that young Consanguine.
It was then as it is now. A large room full of snapping, frothing mutts who kill as it suits them for whatever reason they dream up.
Your city waged a war against Sapience, and more specifically Bloodloch not so long ago. You were kept at bay, but only just, and Varach escaped anyway. It was your sole intention to see Gul'gorath returned no matter the cost. To facilitate a necromancer who blatantly stated that he intended to use the Demon Blade on two of our beloved Divine (to start with), Lord Abhorash and Lady Chakrasul.
To add insult to injury you then attempted to 'treat' with us after so that we would move our troops and you could have a clear path to Enorian. This was after you had attempted to treat both with Enorian and Duiran as well. Bloodloch refused, and so it came as no surprise to me when you set to another war to 'prove' yourselves against our diminished numbers and combat prowess. You won at least in that. Don't hurt yourselves patting one another on the back.
In my absence my Keeper of Bones negotiated with you, even though your demands were outrageous, and that's putting it lightly.
You play the heroes. You play the saviors. You attempt to pull the wool over the eyes of all who witnessed just what depths you're willing to descend to for 'progress'. Might makes right, in your eyes and the eyes of your people - and I suppose that is true in part. You only know one way to get what you want, and one day that'll be your downfall.
I pity you.
We will not be entertaining your absurd claims. If you wish to toss out all you've achieved over it, so be it. Let us paint the sands red like they do in Bonro.
