The Mourners are under new management now. Being cooped up in that damned Blade really makes one think, so now I'm their King, and I'm here to take my cut. Too long has this realm spun on the whims of ravenous adventurers, leaving naught but ruin in their wake. It's time to take back.

I'd like to offer you all a new opportunity. Your territories remain unharmed and you get to walk the roads without becoming a corpse. In exchange, I receive some well-earned gold for keeping you safe.

Per individual: 10,000 gold/year
Per village: 50,000 gold/year
Per organization: 200,000 gold/year

All you have to do is write a name on a letter, put the gold inside it and send it over to my associate, Puddles.
