High Priest of Loss,
As the old adage goes - Nobody likes a sore winner. Your troops comported themselves well and Spinesreach bared its fangs as the rest of Sapience expected. Every onward do your people seek war and carnage in all forms. Though my opinion matters little to you, I find this commendable.
Your attempt to belittle your opponents, however, is repulsive. Our combatants made you bleed for every inch of our city you took. To say most of our ministers cowered and avoided battle is factually incorrect, though I expect your pessimistic turn on viewing the world likens every situation you run into in the worst possible light you can imagine. Exalt in the fact that your opponents struggled, that you saw Strife fulfilled, and that your people finally managed something that wasn't a pyrrhic victory.
Whatever hardship we endure as a result of this loss only makes us stronger. May we never know peace.
Signed,
Gael Volant
