Qor Qogol's silence

Hear the wolves begin to bray as they gather before the Great Gates of Qor Qogol. They have tasted blood in the water and smell it lingering in the air. Yet, even as the scent of reanimation accompanying the magicks that have wrested control of bodies long laid to rest are now rendered to smoke and ashes, those ancient gates remain closed, barring entry for even the most courageous of couriers into the depths of the Deepest City.
Does Sapience know not the meaning of such silence in the face of destruction? When this realm and its cities have knowingly been the orchestrators of our own doom not once, not twice, but numerous times across the span of centuries, I would think not. Desperation creates calamity. When the only option left to answer with is the path one has determined as the final resort, it is a survivor's instinct to walk down that road even if it might spell consequences.
Despite our religious differences and inclinations, Qor Qogol and its appointed representative have been an unwavering ally to the Spirean mandate. The North acknowledges the sincerity behind these actions and declares our continued support in favour of the Deepest City's campaign. Spinesreach takes guidance from Pride Herself and proclaims this:
Let the Alliance bring their might to bear. We have fought in two wars before, and we give the promise that the third will rage as hotly as all the others. A Dragon does not bow, and neither shall we.
