To the Threefold Alliance of the South,

We exist in an Age of Strife Unending and War Eternal, and as we all prepare for conflict inevitable, I have considered what has happened and what is likely to come and find myself disappointed. You hold all of our outer territories, yes. You broke down our outer gate, even. But the Spires still stand. The Spires remain ours.

We may stand here, surrounded on all sides, but we will fight you until we are nothing in the defense of our home. And you will not take it.

Were I among you, I suspect I would have conquered us by now. I certainly would not have stopped at the gates (or what was once those gates).

So I pen this post simply in wonder: will you fail to claim the Spires yet again, or will your ambition take you higher than before?

We shall see soon enough, I suppose.
