I speak in the name of Immortal Corruption, because it She who has bestowed upon me Her Gifts, it is She who has shown me the path to success in Might, and it is She who has revealed the nature of my failures to me. Yet, the Heart of Sapience has so far chosen Spireans as Their representatives.

The future was born in the aftermath of the Second War of Night, and the past died in the Monomachy to make space for it. There is no point in pretending otherwise, and remaining shackled to it is an obstruction of progress. In recognition of this, I abolished the Archivium's restrictions on religious worship over a year ago; in the pursuit of our research, no path should be forbidden. That is, in my opinion, the best stance for Spinesreach now, and I am curious to see the results of the Underking's presence in the north.

The Theocracy of Spinesreach will accomplish its mandate. It is for the Divine Themselves to decide how They will entreat with Their future peers.
