Sapience,
In two weeks' time, at Howling - that is three Howlings from the time of this posting - Duiran will gather in the Heartwood to honor K'y'lee'nn, the Redwood Guardian, she who remembers all and teaches us resilience and growth through adversity.
There will be a performance of ritual dance and song, preceded by individual offerings from participants (if so desired). Come prepared with a song, short dance, poem, or simply a vessel of water from a pure source to pour upon the roots.
This ritual is be open to all who are not enemies of the Council, and for the duration of the event, undead are given safe passage for the purpose of attending and learning of our culture and Dia'ruis. Respect and decorum are expected and will be enforced.
The performance will culminate in the voluntary ritual sacrifice of an outsider for the health of the forest. Those who act against the forest or disrupt the proceedings maliciously will serve as additional involuntary soil enrichment.
Come, or do not. Ceremonial refreshments will be provided.
