Esteemed Denizens and Adventurers of Sapience,
In recent times, many of you have felt a pervasive change coursing through our world. Dr. Pietre Marcelli's observations of dulled senses, colorless dreams, and a general sense of malaise resonated with many, signaling a shift in the very tapestry of our existence. This is not mere happenstance but an echo of the profound shifts occurring within the Chaos Realms.
During my recent ascension under the guidance of Lord Jomunth, the Ravenous, I was privy to a revelation that I feel compelled to share with you now:
the Astral Realm, currently leaderless in the wake of Lady Omei's absence, stands on the precipice of a great succession war. This conflict will not be confined to the borders of Astral Chaos alone; it has the potential to ripple through all realms, including our own.
Lord Jomunth spoke of a war coming, one of succession and ambition. The Astral Nobles, known for their pride, hunger, and unbridled passion, find themselves at a critical juncture. The absence of a ruler in the Astral Realm is not merely a power vacuum. It is a beacon calling forth the ambitious, the cunning, and the powerful from across all Chaos realms.
Let this serve as a warning, but also as a call to preparedness. The Chaos Realms are places of infinite possibilities, and its entities are drawn to our experiences, our dreams, our memories, and our very existence. In these times of uncertainty and impending conflict, it is crucial that we remain vigilant.
The Astral Nobles will soon find themselves in need of support. Their struggle may very well determine the fate of the Chaos Plane and, by extension, our own reality. We must stand ready to assist, not out of fear, but out of a shared destiny that binds us all in the intricate dance of existence.
As we navigate these turbulent times, I urge you to find strength in unity and purpose.
In the spirit of Dr. Marcelli's words, I encourage you to hold fast to the joys and wonders of our world. Celebrate life in all its forms, and let us forge a future that honors the memory of those who came before us and paves the way for those who will follow.
Stay vigilant, stay strong.
Penned by my hand on Tisday, the 18th of Ios, in the year 1 AC.
