Greetings to all,

The Grand Library has an auspicious announcement to make after much debating and pursuing of records: Sapience has entered a new Age. We do not yet know what this shall be called, and will not know until some decades have passed to define how this Age will be shaped.

Going forward, the Grand Library shall annotate all records as 'after the Creators' Monomachy', or AC for short notation, and the calendar will start again from year 0 for the remainder of this year.

In light of the Monomachy, we have additional updates to announce regarding the calendar, and will be changing the names of some of the months.

* The month of Variach is now the month of Sapiarch. We can no longer in good conscience have a month named after Varian.
* In recognition of Ivoln's heroic sacrifice, the month of Lanosian shall be known henceforth as Ivolnos.
* In recognition of Omei's own sacrifice, the month of Khepary shall be known henceforth as Omeian.
* To welcome Celezor, and the acceptance of our realm by the Eschaton, Midsummer shall be known henceforth as Celes.
* In recognition of Lexahdra and Her Revelation, we are updating Her previous namesake month from Niuran to Lexadian
* With Valor's purpose done and His virtue finally faded, we are choosing to replace Arios with Dharos to honour the Underking.

This concludes the updates to the calendar for this new Age. To illustrate, the full monthly cycle is: Sapiarch, Severin, Ios, Dharos, Chakros, Omeian, Celes, Lleian, Ivolnos, Lexadian, Slyphian and Haernos.

The Grand Library would like to address confusion over the 'Age of Technology'. This is from Albedos' own calendar, and has been their current Age for some 700 years by their accounts.
