In defeat, the foolish cling to the familiar comforts of a world that no longer exists, pretending hope still lives after its head was severed and its corpse was impaled and burned as an offering. The Chosen know we must descend into even greater degeneracy and correct the mistakes of our shallow wisdom. We have failed Her, but Her Divine wisdom will never lead us astray. Such is the tempering of Despair and Malice. Such is faith.

My wayside shrine has found a better location, where it will be more accessible to those who unknowingly yearn for Her Gifts.
