I will not demean your intelligence with the ad-hominem attacks of the Warlord's Herald. You are smarter than that. I will simply lay out some facts, and ask that you make your own decision.

An ethereal tree was raised by Primal Magic at Yggdrasil. The Grand Library has already published an accounting confirming that Odravh the Abyssal's work was, exactly as His charge decrees, an act of mending. And act of repair. Preventing our fraying reality from falling to pieces, and resulting in this tree.

Yes, the God of Reason's veil of protection protects us from the fallout of the battle between the Eschaton and the Celestine, but it was the Abyssal who repaired reality.

The Albedi Gods are not our enemy, they simply have Their own jobs to do.

Lexadhra's return clarified a great many things. Oblivion's Portent clarified a great many things. Sapience has no God of Time. Why? Because time is Aechros's domain. Varian has eaten His own Creation at least once before. The Albedi Gods are fundamental to the functioning of not just Albedos, but also Sapience.

At the remains of the World Tree, I believe it was Ulo that mentioned 'invasive species being culled' - forgive me if I am wrong on the quote here. If you want to cull an invasive species, Varian is the one that must go.

Yes, the Albedi Gods can be dangerous. No one sane wishes for the return of the Rampant, for the fires of the Fury to return to Sapience, nor for the Serpent to rise again. No one sane wishes for Dejaani and the Shadow Mother to war adjacent to the Prime. The closest understanding we have of Them is that They are less people and more forces. Driven by an even stronger mandate than Varian's mandate for His children.

You can see the memories of mortality in the Gods of Sapience. They often seem to think like us, act like us, behave like us, even if Their understanding of Creation is more complete (in some cases) than our own.

The Albedi Gods, not so much.

That said, the Gods of Sapience have the potential to be much more than They currently are. We saw this in the God of Reason's workings last week. He took the discarded essence of the Celestine, and possibly of the Eschaton, and used it to manipulate reality.

Who is to say that, were Varian completely destroyed, that His children would not continue to exist? That They would not become more powerful than any time in recent history, and that They would not be able to maintain Sapience without Him?

It is time that His children are freed from His tyrannical hand.
