Apparently even the scribes did not want to let it be known that I have acted and will continue to do so during this war. I persuaded them to rewrite the message in full.

Military service was never a life that suited me, as I expressed on numerous occasions during my time within the Legion, and I have been accused of not knowing how matters of the military work before. However, even I am aware that stepping away from leading troops does not mean I have completely stepped away from defending my home.

You know very little of my efforts during this war, which is as it should seeing as you, much like the Tick, stand on the outside.
