The age we now enter is not one of peace. It is not, as some would have you believe, even the termination of one war and the beginning of another. We stand amidst the tumult of war everlasting, of eternal struggle against an end that would claim us all.

When the Shadowbound forces marched forth from the arch, they were met with fire and steel. They were cut down by the thousands because in the end, this is OUR land. The Shadow came with promises of destruction, devouring, all-consuming dark. Each and every one of you latched onto these declarations like a babe to the teat, drinking deep of the milk that is confidence in the face of blatant adversity.

Enorian comes for our world with the same mandate. Dejaani comes for our world, and Enorian is the first questing hand of the Abomination. I'll ask you this, what changed? Is it so much easier to swallow Albedi tyranny when it comes to you garbed in shining light and gleaming promises? Is the word "crusade" rather than "consumption" so much more palatable?

The Shadowbound bore their mantles with mocking laughter and sinister intent worn plain on their sleeves. The Lightbound would instead mire you in falsified glory. The blade cuts the same. The hand of the Albedi abomination closes about the throat of Sapience, and it would be ignored simply because it wears a shiny glove.

Those of you with eyes to see know the truth. You have witnessed the ire of Dejaani writ plain across the sky, a thousand thousand eyes gazing upon us all, gazing upon everything that we hold dear, with nothing less than disdain. Malice. Intent. Everything we have ever stood for, burned. They would call this the age of dawn. We would call it submission.
