I don't need to write of the virtues of one I lost. I don't need to give you lot anything for you to argue back against when it comes to the one I lost. Those who don't know Holbrook will never know him.

It is for the unjustly murdered that I speak - it is as a would-have been wife, a would-have been mother that I speak: the protector of widows and orphans goes forth and murders another widow, while its people dance hand in hand upon my intended's grave with his murderers.

Accuse me of weaponising my grief, Enorian, bid me silence with the sneers your Vanguard once again has offered. I have no means of retribution; the city I once called home partners just as handily with my mate's killers and there are no promises they will see justice done.

I am merely one hardest-struck, alive because I know not why the shadow of Varian will insist upon shaking life into me. Accuse, and it will only show the depths of your baseness, and reveal the hallowed citizens of the Beacon cares nothing for the pain of the powerless.
