Apparently we did too much by crushing Bloodloch and the Earthen Lord's ilk for their trespass into the Underking's Domain? Or perhaps the Monolith War is another wonderful example of Bloodloch's loudly-espoused 'strength'. Pitiful cries of 'we persist' snuffed out beneath the heels of our boots is all any of you managed to accomplish. Like vermin, like an infestation, like this ever-encroaching rot, you persist but amount to nothing in the grand scheme of things.
And now we do too little? Acting too slowly to satisfy the Sanguine Fist? Not acting in a manner that would see us severing our ties with our longest-standing ally? Tell you what, if there ever comes a time when I need advice on how to alienate my citizens and send them packing to the Reach, maybe I'll pop in and have a chat.
Until then, nobody wants your dirty little bosom.
It may be the end of the world, but nobody's that desperate.
Penned by my hand on Falsday, the 17th of Chakros, in the year 504 MA.
