When the Shadowguard was formed in 503 MA, the charter was clear and explicit. We fight the Shadow Mother and any who aid Her, in all forms.

The Shadowguard does not align interests with all the organisations in the land. Nor does it pretend to try to do such a futile or pointless thing. Organisations that do not wish to cooperate do not have to. This applies to all organisations.

Today, Duiran made its decision to kidnap a Senator of Spinesreach, then rebuffed and refused all attempts at communication, and finally sacrificed a member of the Shadowguard and a leader of the fight against the Shadow Mother in a blood ritual. Since Duiran has chosen to leave the Shadowguard, the Shadowguard respects your decision to do so.

Should Duiran one day become an ally against the Shadow Mother again, the Shadowguard will accept you. Should Duiran fight against the Shadow Mother, the Shadowguard will not sabotage your efforts. Should Duiran aid the Shadow Mother, the Shadowguard will fight you.

The charter of the Shadowguard will not change. The day any organisation commits itself to stand against the Shadow Mother, the Shadowguard will accept members from that organisation. Approach the Champion or the Subjugators whenever your organisation decides to permit you to join the Shadowguard with the actions and choices they make.
