I want to make several things clear here. Ultimately, the battle for Sterion is for Duiran to claim it - as I've already stated. This was to be between us and them, as they are the ones that need to cede.

Attacks on shrines in the territory are strategic and primarily been focused on the Betrayer's as He is a large part of the reason we must do any of this. If they remain dusted, then there will be no need for them to be dismantled over and over again.

As to the war - the war called upon Spinesreach is because they decided to involve themselves. Unlike the other cities, they have never clearly stated that this territory is anything of theirs. No city has laid any claim to this land over the years.

This war with Spinesreach can end if and when they step aside to let us handle this matter. The war with Sterion can end when they cede and let us do what we need to.

We do this for all those who live and breathe - not just for ourselves. Step aside and let us do what we must.
