Long has peace reigned in a world worry free of the trials and tribulations of risk. Foolishly previous leaders had a soft spot in their hearts for the lesser villages of our lands.

The hard working folk, and strapping youth are fit for moving heavy things like boulders, digging trenches, and being fattened for consumption.

Moghedu has had no internal strife for some time, after the conversion of faith, which then the Beacon later decided to openly worship the very Spirits they forced the Mhun to forget by risk of slaughter. What better time to use their connection to the Earth to our advantage where the Beacon squandered it for many years.

Good quality Dwarven tools are also hard to find, and dragging a flailing Dwarf by their beard to be shackled and whipped into submission to forge, is even more grand in the scheme of things.

Of course, the long forgotten Kobolds and Goblins of Siha Dylis, another forgotten memory of the Templars efforts, neglected in their inclusion of racial protectorate, surely converting them from the Black Empire so that they could reside in their hole for eternity was laden with honor and valor.

The Empire brings these sad people back to the forefront, educating them in Strength, breaking their little shackles of peace for something greater. Of course it is by force, but a lasting peace was never something anyone liked.

It is good to see you all being so heroic to your forgotten charges, we ... (I'm gonna say it) persist.
