There is no victory to be found in hanging one's banner within empty halls, if their tiles are not splattered in blood.

There is no glory or remembrance in the tale of sieging a castle bereft of defenders, for your swords need no repair and your armor possesses no dents.

To brag and posture in such a way brings shame to the 'strength' and 'persistence' that you crow about.

Whatever victory you shall claim here is naught but balm for your bruised ego.
