Hypothesis

You all judge, and make assumptions - and yes, it would be a fair challenge to say we do as well. I do not doubt the visions and revelations that Lexadha has shown us. But is the cowardice your interpretation, or Her's?
What Linne has written is correct - despite your collective rage against Varian Himself, He does not come to chastise you. He does not come to destroy you as he did the Arboreans. We saw in the Revelations that He was not content with simply observing His creation, and changed reality at His whim. Where then, is He?
I propose this hypothesis: We know The Other is not defeated. Yet perhaps His love for us, is greater than any of us will ever realise. Perhaps He has learned His lesson; He leaves so that we may live our lives, absent, so that the Other will not find Us. So that we do not have to pay the terrible price of those in Azhoa had.
What I know is that in the past five hundred years of of this modern age, Varian has done no wrong by us. It is even by His Will that some of us have the privilege of returning from the Soul Mirror. Yet after just one single Revelation, you have all judged Him unworthy, according to our mortal standards.
Can you say with certainty that I am wrong? Yes, your words ring with a semblance of truth. Yet so do mine. It is with this margin of tolerance that I cannot follow those of you who decry the Celestine Traitor, Coward, or whatever else you may say.
Call Him Worldeater, if you must. Cut me down, if you must. I know where I stand - and it is alongside my brothers and sisters in the Legion, to safeguard all Sapience from all threat.
