Convictions

Good day, Provost Aeryx.
Words have power. When you set quill to parchment, it is a sort of declaration. Where once your thoughts were abstract, you give them form and purpose.
Yet, with what you write in one breath, you contradict in another.
If you want Truth, then here it is. Your conviction is weak. You say that it is the Beacon's way to respect all Gods. This is something that I understand, and can come to respect. Yet, your very allies in the Heartwood have made it clear they do not. "Piss on the Warlord. Piss on Varian," they say. Words given form that the late God of Truth likely would have paled at, and yet you would stand proudly with them.
You call it Inner Truth, yet I see it for what it is. A pretty name for simple bias.
With one breath, you praise the Unbound for His giving us Free Will and setting us all free, yet with another you lament it. You bemoan the free will of those that choose to direct their time in something other than combat.
Do you see it? Contradictions. Your 'Inner Truth' is your justification to pervert its meaning. If it is not true, then it is simply a falsehood.
The 'Son of Truth' is right about one thing, however. In Strife and War, there is Growth. It may not be comfortable, but tempering is never an easy process. If there are any of you who are unsure, come. Seek one of the Warlord's Legion. We will guide you.
We know where we stand, Provost. Do you?
At least the Heartwood is consistent.
