Deceit

Presiding Voice,
You have lead Duiran in a path of war since you were elected to lead the Council. You speak as one who is instilled with self-righteous fervor, yet the Council, under your leadership, has been an aggressor time and time again.
You and yours escalated the shrine conflict that could have been contained to a debate between Ethne and Iosyne, including involving Sky Dreaming who took no part in the offense you claimed.
Tecpatl's Seer not only encouraged Copperhead toward the Republic, but actively encouraged our destruction vocally, and then through further actions as we worked to support the very foundations of our city.
Then you assisted further, by trying to attack nearly a dozen unconscious individuals, seeking to slit the throats of those who could not defend themselves to defend and aid an Albedi construct in the murder of men, women, and children for the legacy of the Ankyri.
Despite these transgressions, we were focusing inward, rebuilding our foundations and reinforcing the Citadel against future destruction. Until, without provocation, you murdered 200 Spirean soldiers in cold blood who had been stationed in Masilia to defend the confluence against Haekathi thieves, on a suspicion that you cannot prove.
Your paranoia has embroiled the entire continent in war, Voice. Your self-righteousness has pulled the Republic into conflict after conflict, and yet you speak as if you are justified in your deceitful ploys.
Rather than declare war upon us, you tried to get Copperhead to destroy us for you. Rather than declare war upon us, you quietly dispatched our troops, our citizens, based on your suspicion that had no proof or backing.
And, while you claim we act from the shadows, you tell me that you and your husband, Sryaen, shall be slinking into my city under the cover of Phase to gather the "evidence" you are convinced exists to prove your paranoia as true.
The Lion has stood as sentinel against the Albedi time and time again.
From the North came the Grey Accords that you tore apart in your bid to destroy our home.
From the North came the leadership and wall of defense that stood between Jox and the rest of the continent.
From the North came the cure to the Bloom that ravaged your home, killing untold thousands across the continent.
I suspect you will defend your actions with the lament we have heard these past weeks, and even years prior: Our Patron and guardian is the Lord Manipulator, the God of Lies and Deceit. Thus that is all we, the Republic, care capable of doing and what we cherish most.
Yet it is you, Voice that have worked from the shadows, spun deceitful lies to your people and your allies, and condemned an entire nation to die by aiding an Albedi, even as that very nation and her allies fixed it of its insanity and renewed its purpose.
You disgrace that which you fight for with your own paranoia, decit, and lies, Voice, and represent our Patron far better than we ever could.
Your terms are rejected. For our own:
The Lion joins the Empire in requiring a new Presiding Voice.
Those who assisted Copperhead in trying to destroy Spinesreach will be held accountable, along with aid in our rebuilding efforts.
Those who slaughtered our troops in cold-blood, will be held accountable and reparations made to their families.
Duiran will reaffirm the Grey Accords, publicly, and acknowledge its aggression, including its aid of Albedi machinations for its own ends.
To Enorian:
We remain committed to not acting against the Beacon. While we know we cannot avoid confrontations upon the battlefield, we offer mediation between you and Bloodloch so we may calm some portion of the blood lust that grips us all and feed the Fury no more.
I know you spoke of not allowing your ally to stand alone against two aggressors and I respect that. However, now that ally is the very aggressor you sought to guard them against in our first meeting. Do you truly condone their war path? How long before the Wild demands a sacrifice from you to Dendara?
Hopefully, Vanguard and Heralds, we may retread the path of those before us and find a common ground again.
