You say that your actions are to teach - to educate the people of the Beacon to the way the world is. I agree. Your actions have made clear beyond doubt that evil exists in the world, and that evil is weak, forced to prey upon only the most vulnerable, and to use words in place of action.

I am learning much from you, and I hope that you too are learning about the world. I hope you are learning your rightful place in it, as much time as you spend reforming in the Darkness. I hope you are learning that actions have consequences, and examining the actions that made you what you are. I hope you are learning about strength, about resolve, about clarity and purpose.

When you are ready to learn about what the world could be, about a time when the petty angers that fuel you are no more and the helplessness that drives you gives way to confidence and agency, I and others will be here...to feed and shelter you as you grow into what you could be, instead of languishing as what you have condemned yourself to be.

Until then, may you never know peace - for when the Age of Dawn does come and peace falls across the world, you will not be here to see it, not as you are. And between that time and now, your actions, your choices, have left no room for peace for you.
