Greetings Sapience!

I am Gorbert, the newly elected mayor of Gorshire. Mister Durnun has provided more than decades of good service to our village, and as such will be retiring with all honors to pursue, well, whatever he would like to pursue! With this change in leadership, so too will Gorshire undergo changes. For the next week, Gorshire will be closing its gates to the public while we undergo some minor renovations to the village proper. With these renovations and upgrades, the stricture upon Gorshire being only for the younglings of the land will be lifted, and anyone will be free and able to walk our streets.

The Gorshire council and I wish to say that the Gnomish peoples of this land no longer wish to sit idly by and watch Sapience progress through this age without us. It is our hope that alongside these modest renovations, the Gnomish people will begin to have a higher place in these lands, a larger purpose. Though this purpose may yet be undiscovered, rest assured that we will find it in these coming years.
