Spinesreach is opening up several contests and events to anyone who is in good standing with the city - meaning, not an enemy. This is in celebration of Celesmas, a reminder to think on the Creator Varian. Here's a list of what you can take part in:

1. Crafting contests. Submit your designs for any of these to Agothaxl by the 10th of Lanosian 477 at the howling (12/17 0:00 GMT). These will be listed into a project for each category and referendums within Spinesreach will be opened for each to allow people to vote on their favorites. You can enter as many items as you want in each category and don't have to have the craft in order to enter. Submissions should be provided by letter.
-Ugly sweater contest for tailors (project 1291).
-Best sausage dish for cooks (project 1560).
-Best cider for brewers (project 1592).
2. Lottery. Tickets for the lottery cost 2500 gold a piece with no limit as to how many you buy. Gold should be mailed to Agothaxl. Tickets can be purchased up until the drawing on the 19th of Haernos 477 at the howling (12/31 0:00 GMT).

Winners of the crafting contests that are not Spirean will get 15, 10, or 5 tickets respectively for 1st, 2nd, 3rd. All valid participants will get 1 ticket.

Prize details:
-Six total drawings.
-Your tickets for the lottery can either be selected by you (if the numbers are still free) or given to you at random. The tickets for each individual are hidden from anyone but the Adjutant from finding.
-The credits. First draw will get 100 credits, third draw 50, and fifth draw 25.
-The gold. Second draw will get 15% of total gold, fourth will get 10%, and sixth will get 5%.
-The gold comes from people who buy lottery tickets and from the people auction gold - only Spireans and Bloodlochians can bid/participate in the people auction.
-All prizes will be drawn on the 19th of Haernos 477 at the howling (12/31 0:00 GMT).

To close things out, all those in good standing with Spinesreach are also invited to our Winter Gala. This will happen on 4 Severin 478 in the ballroom of the Institute in Spinesreach. The theme is 'Spirean Winter' and the colors will be blue, silver, and white.
