The Mhun of Moghedu

Sapience,
It?s time we talked about the events going on in Moghedu. There is a near constant cry that those of the Light hear from those of Shadow-- that of hypocrisy. Always quick to point out when we do not live up to the standards that we have set, and yet easy to throw that stone with no standards of your own. And then, a gift from Varian Himself. Your beloved Warlord, meant to unify sapience against the Albedi threat.
And what represents this Albedi threat? That?s no secret. Anyone who worships one of their Gods gives power to them. We?re all in agreement, for the most part, that those are the very people that threaten Sapience. People who will be dealt with, Lord Bamathis has said, after the Chaos Court threat.
It?s also no secret that Spirit and Shadow have very different interpretations of what it means to eliminate that threat. Enorian seeks to redeem those who worship the Albedi Gods, and in a show of good faith, embarked upon that goal. An end goal, let?s remember, that matches that of all of Sapience-- to end the threat of Albedi worship.
Now, I know this is where things start to get tricky. You might be asking yourself, ?but wait, Shadow is pretty good at utilizing any means to an end to get to their goals. It?s those hypocritical Spirit people that are always harping about the path.? And yet, we find ourselves at an odd impasse. What is happening in Moghedu right now? Dozens of Mhun are converting to the Gods of Sapience? and those of Shadow, out of boredom, or bloodlust, or whatever excuse they feel the need to use in the moment, are actively -hampering- the achievement of a goal set forth by Varian Himself.
Understand and hear me clear: each time Enorian and Duiran are forced to halt our conversion efforts to stop Shadow from killing people out of boredom, you actively AIDE the cause of Albedos. You are becoming an obstacle in the way of the conversion of people to the Gods of Sapience. YOU are actively working against the goals of Sapience and the purpose of the Warlord.
You, Meltas, call a bloodhunt for sport and entertainment. You do so against a people who are being actively converted to our Gods because you?re looking to pick a fight? What will killing these people do in the long run? Like you and I, they return from the halls relatively unchanged, but certainly less bent on bending to your will. You select an arbitrary token reason of their culture focused on the Albedi Gods, and yet you stand in the way of their conversion to our Pantheon.
So again, we return to that word. Hypocrite. Enorian was clear when speaking with the Warlord that our aide must be one of a path of conscience, but we will fight for the whole of Sapience, just as we did with the Accord. We still fight for the whole of Sapience, working tirelessly to defeat our common enemies in the only lasting way that we know how-- while those of Shadow, some pledged to the Warlord Himself, work to cull those efforts.
I?m sure there will be immediate responses to this-- attempts to claim that there is some justification for what is being done. There is always a need to defend yourself when the truth comes calling and trying to tear down the words of truth instead of face the reflection of one?s own folly. I understand. I expect it. Just understand that no amount of wordplay is going to change the truth of your actions.
So, use what excuse you must. We?ll be about the work you should be doing.
