Greetings to everyone!
As time goes on, the Sentaari monks continue their arduous renovations to the monastery. We continue to modernize and enhance our great and growing community, and this little announcement is to share some of our fantastic progress with those it is relevant to! Skip this posting if you're uninterested.
One of the more outwardly notable upgrades we have is the new statue of Father Brachus! Even though we are a friendly community with a great sense of humor (so says the tired student suddenly caught in a kai pie game - in the face!) we have long held that respect and personal space are key ingredients to our healthy community. As such, we no longer touch Father Brachus' statue but instead, we bow to it!
If you are sanctioned, you should now be able to either SENTAARIBOW or BOW to come in. We'd love to see you visit and hang out with us soon.
Next, the Bai-tu clan was developed in the past as a place where people can gather, read about game rules and record their scores. All this lovely information is now combined with all the other great games that the monastery has, such as Kai Pie, Sacred Scroll and so on. All these were moved to the Abbey's Academy clan (more about this clan later). Everyone who used to be in Bai-tu now finds themselves removed as we repurposed the clan and renamed it Order of the Radiant River.
This clan (ORR) will now serve as a place where all those wishing to be apprenticed by the Sentaari monastery will be asked to submit their request in writing, a short letter will do, with information about themselves and their motivation for apprenticeship. The letter is posted here, and the entirety of the Monkhood will vote on the application for seven weeks. Please read HELP LAWS SENTAARI for details.
The Radiant River gets its name in honor of our Patron, the Maelstrom. We see the process of apprenticing someone as a way to flow down sacred knowledge that has been learned and honed over the years to someone who is otherwise unaware of the potentials of the mind, body, and the world's energy.
As we wish to continue to honor and train all who are apprenticed, we open the Abbey's Academy to all spirit-aligned monks. This is an open forum where we all share training, combat tactics, Tekura/Kai/Telepathy games, and a great deal more. Everyone here is respectful and plays well with others!
Look for me if you have questions or interested in our next steps,
