Ahhh, the joys of awakening to find people have publicly accused you of behaviours that you can not prove false because you can't prove something that didnt happen. All I can do is inform you of what occurred as to better assist your attempts to draw conclusions on the situation.
I had to look up in public records to determine who you are and therefore who your mother would be: Aloli, yes? How have I possibly put any guilt onto her in this situation? She has had nothing whatsoever to do with anything here -she is no follower of Slyphe that I am aware, nor was she present for the brief incident that caused this debacle. She had been, very generously, attempting to help me find my way. The only contact I have had with her since were two messages, allow me to repeat the entirety of our communication here for you to see:
My first message: Slyphe saw fit to kill me for having a thought that insulted Its ego. I do not think I will be seeking the Light any longer if this is what is meant to represent it.
Aloli replied: Slyphe is usually a very wise and reasonable God, I cannot presume to know why It did that but I assume if you were to communicate with it that you're looking for a place to fit in, It will teach you a wise lesson. I've learned a few hard lessons at His hands but still She was always empowering. She would be a excellent ally in your corner if you got on their good side, look at what They did to Phoenecia.
My second message: It flippantly killed me for having a thought It, at my best guess, disliked. I have seen no evidence of wisdom or reasonableness.
Those are the only communications I have had with her since the incident.
The incident itself:
Your post seems to be very strangely misunderstanding what occurred which I am requesting an apology for. Due to your apparent misunderstanding of my communications with Aloli, however, I thought you deserved a clarification of the event so that you might make a proper judgement call.
The scene: Night in Enorian.
I awoke and wanted to go enjoy The Flame's calming influence. I had found it quite peaceful to my mind of late and took pleasure in worshiping it upon the dawn. So I went to The Flame.
Much to my surprise, there was a gathering of Enorianites, Slyphe and Damarial. The topic did not seem private, this was an exceptionally public place and I was doing nothing to hide my presence, so I thought I would wait out the night in the company of strangers, divine and friends until the sun rose that I could worship.
The topic of discussion seemed to be Enorianites having difficulty in getting Enorianites to participate in warring combat. Not being an Enorianite and having only minor experience in combat, I did not want to interrupt the discussion, so I stayed quiet and still as I listened and awaited dawn. At some point in their conversation, I silently thought to myself, "If you could halve the learning curve to combat, youd probably see more participation." Now, I have never considered this a remarkable thought if combat were a simpler skill to take up, would not more people do it? I certainly would.
Much to my surprise, Slyphe directly addressed me aloud, asking, "What curve is left when Jory and his ilk have carved the path for you?" I had, and honestly still have, no idea what he was talking about. I have since checked my messages, the public news, looked for any missing letters. I see no information on how this Jory and 'his ilk' have created a method by which to ease my understanding and proficiency in combat.
However, at the time, I was merely stunned by the question. I wondered how a person wouldn't understand the challenges that face a mortal learning to fight, but I recognized that It is not a mortal and therefore it was entirely plausible that It was not personally aware of the challenges. All the same, I did not want to appear rude by assuming his question was intended rhetorically, so I responded: "Are you... sincerely uncertain what the learning curve to learning how to fight is?"
And for that, I was killed.
I am leaving out no details of inflection or truncating the words said. This was the entirety of what It killed me for.
------------------------------
Now, the faint of heart who have somehow stuck this through, I suggest you turn away as the topic is going to get a bit messy.
The topic of unborn children. At the time of the killing, I was rather engorged with a sizable crotchfruit. To my knowledge, at the time, if you died, you had a chance of the crotchfruit being lost in the process. So, it seems entirely reasonable that, not knowing differently, I would have consciously or subconsciously thought that my 'whole self' did not include the crotchfruit and therefore it was my ignorance to my ability to save it through sheer force of will that caused it to remain beyond the veil. I appreciate Slyphe's willingness to inform the public of the realm of this inaccuracy because now that I am armed with this knowledge: I can rest much easier in the future knowing that death befalling my crotchfruit-laden form will do no harm to the life within.
