Hm.

Verrillia,

This will be short, since I think we've exhausted the limits of this particular debate.

- First, the play on words was not in the least bit relevant to the points I had to make, and by attempting to portray it as such, you give it outsize weight.

- Second, we may well adapt on the question of curatives. Fortunately, this does not undermine the essential point I'm making.

- Third, the rise of Shadow is a threat to everyone. Even if Consanguine and undead endure, this simplification of affairs into base tyranny will rob of dignity, of grace, even of sanity, all who participate within it. The vampiric cure being impossible in such a world, only absurdity and torpor remain to the finite and unchanging participants in such a state. It will be apocalyptic for you, and to state otherwise is to live in denial.

- Fourth, you cannot people a world with constructs, and undead require a living template in the form of a body. Saying that our works of mortal creation are a way out is absurd.

- Fifth, your point with respect to the Gods is baseless conjecture, the very same of which you accuse me.

- Sixth, read my book. It's well-supported. None of the concepts I am using were originated by me, specifically, but borrowed from earlier texts. Those new and original conclusions which I have drawn stand upon the backs of those very same concepts. 'Dynamic equilibrium' is one such.

- Shadow is not poorly understood, and your attempt to muddy the waters flies in the face of what has been observed in the nature of Ati, the Shadowbound, the Shadow Mother, and the slow devouring of the Spirit Plane. This is nothing more than a poor defense of destructive practices. 'We don't understand.' Yes we do.

- If you accept that Sciomancers channel Shadow into this plane, and that Shadow is capable of compounding itself even in small quantities, you /necessarily accept the conclusions I draw./

- The Sciomancers create Shadow in quantities far exceeding any other force tethered to Shadow. This is clear. This is made obvious by the fact that Mazzion alone wields enough force of Shadow through his singularities to kill dozens at every lesser. You would agree, I'm sure, that the amount of Shadow required to kill even a single Sapient being must be sufficient in quantity to dismantle, dissolve, or even eliminate a substantial number of their modicums.

Or, put in layman's terms, the amount of material and force necessary to destroy something is not significantly smaller than that required to create its material components in the first place, and singularities are uniquely destructive bursts of Shadow /drawn from an outside plane./ Consanguine and undead, definitionally, do not draw Shadow from elsewhere every time they need to brush their teeth or destroy their enemies; where they create new Shadow, it is solely toward the purpose of sustaining themselves.

Precise measurements are not needed, given that common sense alone demonstrates the fundamental absurdity of your arguments.

I will send you my book. You should read it, and the texts I've based it on, before you dismiss what I have to say as ill-supported conjecture.

The Sciomancers are slowly destroying existence by channeling Shadow.

Penned by my hand on Tisday, the 22nd of Arios, in the year 468 MA.
