[Introduction to Ylem Mine safety]

Welcome to magnificent world of mining ylem, the latest in a series of Research advancement works from our allies in Delve, your contractor of choice when it comes to the best in Research needs. This document, YSM-001, the Ylem Safety Manual, is for
the events following a prolonged exposure to the effects of Ylem. In the case of a limited scale sickness, or other outbreaks, please
refer to the appropriate documentation within:

[Ylem Exposure]

Latent Ylem is something that any prospective miner must be concerned with. While it is normal for a small amount of ylem to be absorbed, large amounts entering the normal person during the days of activity in the mines, a large amount of exposure can lead to poisoning and this is a reason for concern. The average person receives about ten times the regular exposure after one day in the mines. After a significant length of time you would obviously expect as much I would hope. Though some will hazard to believe that having a resistance will reduce the total amount of ylem you take by it?s percentage...this is quite untrue and it is instead very similar to being poisoned but on a far greater scale.

[Medical Attention and Life Retention]

Science. A more advanced skill of healing may be necessary beyond the common curatives. You can heal serious damage and crippled limbs but not damage from Ylem Exposure. Utilising the expertise of a Scientist will take a while to perform and may not be best suited for those with long term exposure. Every crippled limb and malady will add to the time required for one of Science to redeem the damage done. You can likely combine it with First Aid but there may be little hope. It is advised to leave the area as soon as symptoms arise to prevent your untimely death.
