Duiran, Duiran, Duiran

People of Duiran,

My House Leader was generous enough to leave you all a Celesmas gift before your gates. A lovely statue, which you could all gaze upon and see the beauty and power that is my race. Your ingrate government, rather than properly thanking us for the gift, decided to place a bounty upon MY head. In response to this, I contacted Ashlea and asked if it was really necessary to place said bounty on me, since I was not actually accused of doing any wrong to your Council. She responded that the bounty would remain, and that I was to be a 'mere' casualty... Apparently, among you cattle, this is what passes for intelligent thought.

Ever gracious, I pointed out to Ashlea that if I am to be slain on sight, because I belong to Nebre'seir, then logic follows that I should hold all of YOU responsible. She had no issues with this.

Yet I am gracious. I have given you a two-fold blessing. I have made your waterways run with blood, that you might remember what you are in this world... Food. And I have placed within your halls grand statues for you to gaze upon, and see what you might aspire to be. The near-gods that are named Consanguine.

Know that even in this time, I remain gracious and will accept any of you who wish to elevate yourselves from the ranks of cattle, and aspire to immortality.

In Service to the Blood

Yarel Nebre'seir

Penned by my hand on the 9th of Severin, in the year 437 MA.
