The Priesthood of Moghedu is not prepared to negotiate further with the City of Duiran until it acknowledges itself as a civilization alike to the other Cities. We feel that in refusing to call itself a City, Duiran conveniently excludes itself from its own ideology of wildlife preservation so that it can hypocritically condemn others for daring to live and seek better for themselves. Until this hypocrisy is candidly admitted, we see no point in diplomacy with hopelessly deluded, illogical outsiders that must turn to their Gods for help in writing a simple treaty.

We are not impressed.
