Food,
We have done battle many times. You were always good with a mace, but
neither rhetoric nor logic have ever been strengths of yours.
Your zeal has not dulled with age, but I think your faculties may have
grown dull by the passage of time.
I would not expect so feeble and intellect as your own to grasp the
place of the Children of Earth or the Children of the Night. The Father
of Earth saw fit to establish the undead outside of the Cycle and the
Mother of Corruption gave us the gift of the Blood so that we might grow
with the succour of darkness.
Without Corruption the world is stagnant. Without Corruption there is no
progress, no change. Without Despair there is no growth. We are
creatures of interstices. Our cause is clearly beyond your ken.
The sun both rises and sets. There will be light. There will be
darkness, in the interstice between there are the children of the
Twilight.
Penned by my hand on the 11th of Arios, in the year 410 MA.
