The definition of attempt, is to try. Considering you had found someone
who openly accepted themselves and their dark core, instead of running
and hiding like the rest, means that it was not an "attempt". It was a
successful "infiltration".

We only seek to waken the city to themselves. How can one truly be
"pure" if they do not accept themselves entirely, Desires and all? Or am
I wrong and to be "pure" is to actually remain ignorant to yourself? To
deny yourself everything you want? To deny true happiness?
