I address this post to the members of the Ascendril guild, publicly in
this fashion because I do not trust the one known as Meltas to convey my
words to his guild.

Upon receiving his seat of power within the guild, Meltas removed the
former guildmaster who resigned peacefully, Tahl. He then removed Xavin
for questioning the decision.

Next, the great leader Meltas inguilded Zynti, a mercenary who took up
arms with Lady Ysmali against my Lord Damariel, and who remains an enemy
of Lord Damariel to this day.

Then he made that person a secretary.

When I asked Meltas his basis for removing Tahl, he first informed me
that Tahl had become succumbed by shadow. As Tahl is a Chosen of Lord
Damariel, I find this both amusing and disconcerting. You see, Meltas
was a Congregant of my Lord Damariel, though it has become painfully
obvious he cares nothing about Truth.

When I asked him again this month, it was because 'the guild requested
it'. Which is it, I do not know.

What I do know is this, Ascendril:

I, along with the Council of Heralds, have found the Ascendril in
violation of their agreement with Enorian, and thus that treaty has been
voided. You no longer have
protection in our streets.

I have removed Meltas from the Congregation of Lord Damariel, for his
lies.

I have made a list of demands to Meltas, the least of which is his
resignation. If these are not met within 2 months time, I plan to use
Enorian's militia to secure the Ascendril Research Center in the Putoran
Hills and hold it indefinately until such a time as the threat to the
Spirit plane is abated.

The Luminaries also rely on this plane, and I will not - cannot - allow
any harm to come of it at the hands of Enorian's enemies such as Zynti
and liars such as Meltas.

This bloodshed, and this incident, can be averted. It is simply going to
take the Ascendril rising up as one and replacing a corrupt leader.
