The meeting earlier this month and a few short words

Greetings, Paladins.
There are a few things I'd like to address.
The first being that, earlier this month, a gathering was held in the
gatehouse. A large number of knights were in attendance as well as Lady
Valenae, Edhain, and our matron, Lady Auresae. After hearing Valenae's
explanation of why she left, none of the knights in attendance had any
problem with her returning to us and to retain her title. We then
discussed the prospect of Edhain's return and after much discussion, he
decided he'd like to return as long as he was not put into a position of
power. This too, was met with no opposition. After a very short
discussion about the prospect of Lady Shiari being reinstated, it became
immediately clear that everyone present wanted that as well.
So, be sure to welcome back Ladies Valenae and Shiari, and uhh...
Recruit Edhain.
If I may ask one thing, though, it's that no one be favored until after
the election is over, as per current guild law.
The second thing I wanted to say is that now is when the future is
formed. Now is neither the time for apathy nor silence. It is not the
time for a small group of knights to further their own power, but for
the guild as whole to be empowered and find its path. Now is the time
for unity and honour.
I wish the best of luck to those vying for the post of Grand Champion of
the Innocent. I would also like to implore anyone who believes they
would serve the guild well as the Grand Champion to enter the
contentions. I would like to implore those voting to vote with both
their hearts and their mind, and choose who they truly believe will put
the guild before themself for the good of the guild. And last, I would
like to implore our future Grand Champion to learn from the mistakes of
the past and to serve the guild with the best of his or her ability.
With high hopes for the future of our Brotherhood,
Ghetz Al'dier
