I am required by the terms of mediation to make this statement:

Having insulted the house of Bouchard and realising our actions have
brought shame upon our House, we of house D'baen do hereby formally
yield to the Might that is Bouchard. Having seen that resistance is
futile in this dispute, we acknowledge that our actions in this instance
were uncalled for and regret breaking our formal treaty. With this in
mind, our House forfeits a death to the military might of Bouchard, a
token in return for nullification of future militant actions. This
action will be carried out in a public execution by Lord Akimoto,
enforcer of the Will of Bouchard.
