Gods and Mortals,

These invaders, these Dreikathi, hail from a continent oceans away. They
are as Gods in that Godless land, having subjugated all of the
indigenous races just as they seek to enslave or destroy each and every
one of you.

I would call You My siblings, but I fail to see how any relatives of
Mine could be so easily deceived, like cows being lead one by one to the
slaughter. Blind to the Truth you have fought and bickered while this
threat drew nearer and nearer, never paying any mind to the danger
waiting just over the horizon.

Their utilization of ylem confers upon them power nearly equal to the
Divine and this is you continue to fail in your attempts to uproot them.

Is this what I died for? I mended the Shadow Mother's prison, at great
personal expense, to save this land from tumult that threatened it in
that day, but for what? Did any of You spare but a moment's
consideration to how was released in the first place? I sought to share
the Truth.

The ylem itself is the crystalline power of the Gods, harvested from the
intersections of leylines that We laid down when the world was young. An
obvious solution would be to harvest and utilize this ylem, harness its
power and beat the Dreikathi at their own game. Unfortunately, such a
plan would be decades, perhaps event centuries in the making before it
reached fruition.

Severn knows, just as I know, just as We have always known. These
Dreikathi are not new, by any measure or definition of the word. I tried
to warn You, I tried to share with You all what I knew, only to have My
selflessness lead Me into that black abyss without any consideration
given for the circumstances surrounding My demise. You disappointed Me
then just as You disappoint Me now.

These Dreikathi are similar to the Ankyreans in their brilliance and
ingenuity, but also in their hubris and scorn for beings they consider
to be beneath them. Try to imagine the effort it has taken to emulate
even the most simple of Ankyrean discoveries. Take Numerology for an
example. I can remember now, the heights of the Ankyrean Numerology and
the parlour tricks these Cabalists play at are at best the work of a
promising apprentice.

Yet, I offer all of You an opportunity to earn My forgiveness, just as I
invited the Ultraist to bask in My benevolent mercy. Know the Truth,
Siblings, if I dare call You as such. Unite with Me now and let Us repay
the Artificer for the way by which He has hamstrung Us in this fight
against these interlopers.

I've had enough of You. I've had enough of Your interference, of the way
You have ruined everything I worked so hard to cultivate. Templar
abandon Me in droves and I look to You with My blame.

You don't have any option but the one I present. This stubbornness has
gone on far too long and much time has been wasted as a result. Time is
something You no longer have in abundance. It has been squandered and
only one course remains.

I refuse. I will seek alternative. I will be free of You and I will
return things to their rightful place. You will burn no more bridges for
Me.


There is no going back, Little Brother, You know this. It is time that
You accepted the Truth for what it is. It is time that We worked
together.
A fallacy! You have NO desire for Us to work in concert, all that You
wish is complete control, I see it when You speak for Me, act for Me,
and pass Yourself off as Me! You want to replace Me, while I languish in
Obscurity as You did.

That would be ideal.

I refuse! I will not let You destroy Me! I will not give in!

That would be ideal, Arion, but the Truth is somewhat less convenient.
We entered into this arrangement out of necessity and for the
foreseeable future We are forced to do as best We can with it.
