Enorian.

Could I ever, find a more hypocritical city, than Enorian? No, I don't
think so. Justice, what is Justice? Something Enorian seems to think
they serve, but never actually use it. Respect, another missing piece,
to the gloriously mismatched puzzle of that city.

I live a mostly quiet life, I keep to myself and I don't have, any
friends. But I did have one, and it may be silly to say- but that one,
was my falcon, Einion. He was more to me than 'just another falcon', or
'some bird'. I suppose, Herald Paris of Enorian, didn't take them into
consideration when he was unmerciful, on a smaller being than himself.
You see, I come home to find messaged, and my falcon not coming to my
call..

Paris, accidentally gave my falcon a stone- an aquamarine. Something
replacable. He could have been patient and waited for my return to get
it for him, but no, in order to get it back, he killed Einion, told me
he could just take me to the aviary to get another one.

That, is an act of Cruelty, something I left the Paladins because of. I
guess it must have soaked through the rest of it's mighty leaders, or
maybe just that one. All the same, it was utterly disrespectful- I was a
citizen, and he my Herald. My falcon was not outside the city's walls,
no, it was perfectly safe inside.

I have lived through and watched all of the small conspiracies and
misjudgements, as well as contradictions Enorian has surprisingly
survived through. But, even though its grand title is, 'Beacon of
Light', what Light, exactly, is it being a beacon of? I have no
intentions, of ever returning to a city that doesn't respect me as a
loyal follower who gives my life and swords to their service. Maybe one
day, maybe, Enorian will shine again- but for now, what a dark city it
has become. This, if you want to know, is not just about my falcon
dying, its about much more. My falcon is only used as an example, and I
think it makes a clear statement about the city's leaders. Poor
representation is one thing, but poor treatment of it's citizens, thats
another.

With no sincerity to spare,
-Romney.
