Mr. Vampire,

I read most of your words.
I will attempt to respond to relevant topics and questions I found in
the long, long paragraphs.

o I will not dispute good and evil with you. As I wrote, such things are
fickle, and silly, fluxuating opinions are something I have no place for
in my worship. They hold no place in my belief about Corruption.

o You say the search for power comes with the path you tread. I invite
you to seek out the guild, city or order without it's leader. Competant
they may be, if they did not want the power their positions afford them
they would not accept it. It is most inherant in leadership, though it
roots back to peons as well. If anyone, or you especially, did not want
approval, you would hold no place in a house, guild or city. What
benefit comes from being surrounded by people you do not care about,
after all?

o I go back to your arguements about your own corruption. You are
indeed, although you do as many people try who fight corruption. A
quote; 'I learned to control my desires, to release them when it will
only cause pleasure. To hold my tongue, to stare at the eyes, to hold
the lust at back.'

In me, I have great potential to do 'good' and be 'just.' I have morals,
which are simply my mind's attempts to be stronger than my desires. Give
morality the name of 'truth' or 'light' or whatever pleases you, but
it's purpose is the same. Regardless of if I act on these morals, the
potential for them is there, thanks to our thinking minds. Just as we
are all benevolant- or could be, if we used the proper restraint- so too
are we all corrupt, for those multitudes of times we do not, or even
those times we use morality as a tool.

You -are- corrupt. Actively fighting it does not make it less so.
I am mortal. Rising from the ground each time I die does not make it
less true.
It is the same.
