Addressed to: Everyone
On behalf of the Bloodlochian Cultural Society, it is my pleasure to
announce that we will be hosting a combat tournament, commencing in
Niuran 252 M.A. This will be open to the citizens of Bloodloch as well
as our Spirean allies. This tournament will be held in
double-elimination format with two separate groupings, one for more
experienced fighters, another for the young ones. The entry fee for each
combatant will be 5000 gold.
The winner of each grouping will receive the following:
- 25 credits
- Lord Galleus's Blessing
- 1000 slices of each organ
- The favor of their city leader and possible others.
In order to join you must message me with your name and the group you
will be competing in. If you know you belong in the experienced
grouping, do not expect to be placed with the young fighters group. You
will be moved. You may either deposit your 5000 gold directly into
Bloodloch's account at the Blood Bank with a message for me to confirm
or you may mail it to me in a letter with your name on it so that I can
deposit it myself.
General rules:
- The first matches will be posted at Niuran. You have until Midsummer
to submit your entry.
- Once each round goes up, you will have three months to find your
opponent, complete a RANKED spar and message me for confirmation.
- If you choose to forfeit your match, the party who will take the loss
must message me accordingly.
- You are allowed two losses before you will be removed from the
competition. The winner of each first round match will advance to fight
another winner, if you lose your match you will fall into the loser's
bracket and fight another with one loss. The loser of this match will
- Due to the nature of the double elimination format and possible uneven
amounts of contestants, some may recieve an automatic pass to round two.
This will be totally and completely random.
- Should the final round come down to one whom is undefeated and one who
has lost once and the combatant from the loser bracket win the match,
there will be a second match to decide the winner. Nobody is eliminated
without being twice beaten.
