The Tournament of Champions

Greetings Sapience. I am going to be holding an event for us, called the
Tournament of Champions. What this is, is a tournament that anybody in
Sapience can enter. The fee to join in this contest is 1,000 gold. Here
is how it works.

Any people wishing to join the tournament will send me a message
expressing their interest. That person also, will send me a letter (with
their name on it of course) with the gold inside of it. The minimum
amount is 1,000 gold. The winner will get 80% of the gold made from all
of the entry fees, and the loser will get the remaining 20%. This means
that if you want a larger prize, you have to give a larger amount of
gold. You can put as much gold as youd like into the letter. Also, you
can put other things in the letter, but you will have to clarify in your
letter how you would like it to be split. For example, if somebody were
to include their 1,000 gold, and a brand new suit of chain mail, they
would have to clarify that the chain mail is for the winner of the
tournament, and not the loser. You -can- put things in the letter for
the loser of the tournament if that is what you wish to do, but like
mentioned earlier you must clarify that in your letter.

In about seven months from now the first round will be scheduled to
begin. In about five months from now, I will place a scroll at the
Delosian bridge. with a list of all of the combatants and what rewards
are in. After that, the names will be randomly arranged into groups of
two. The two people will fight each other, and the winner of that group
will move on to fight the winner of another group. This will continue
going on until we have only two people left. These two people left will
fight in the Fields of Valor to declare who the tournament Champion is.
In about six months from now, I will place another scroll at the
Delosian bridge with a list of who will be fighting who for the first
round. .Round one will go for either five months, or until all fights
have been done. After that, round two will begin and that as well will
go on for either five months, or until all fights have been done. That
pattern will continue until we have our final two. These fights can be
in any arena across the realms (Excluding the final fight, which will be
in the Fields of Valor) . It MUST be a ranked spar, so we can clarify
via combat status who the victor of the match was.
