Dawnstricken

From the Vashnar's heights
it came to slaughter knights
in wedded bliss with darkness
it spread its defilation
from the vashnar's heights

One man rose to challenge
his name was Sir Horalenge
with ego and arrogance he strode
the the beast's deep lair
one man rose to challenge

The beast strode down the mountain
to meet by Slyphe's fountain
Horalenge stood anxious
awaiting his possible fate
the beast strode down the mountain

The beast struck from behind
the beasts honor the knight denied
his wound was deep
in the night, with abaddon's delight
the beast struck from behind

With honor and dignity, the knight stood brave
attempting to drive the beast back to it's cave
his sword was true his heart was pure
his soul not tainted, his mind in Nirvana
With honor and dignity the knight stood brave

The battle was fierce
blood flew from the pierce
of the beast's claws
and of the knights sword
the battle was fierce

In the middle of the ferment, dawn came nigh
the Knight in his armor, rose his sword high
with the beast crippled, its legs and arms shattered
he brought down the sword, and
in the middle of the ferment, dawn came nigh

Alas however, darkness was strong
and the Knight's brave justice proved wrong
for the beast was gone
and dawn was here
Alas however, darkness was strong

Penned by my hand on the 3rd of Arios, in the year 67 MA.
