My Love

Love is like an ocean
Seeing it with no end,
causing waves of motion
that ripple 'til they blend.

Dark is its depths that feel without sight,
Beauty is its surface that flickers in the light.
Air is the substance that keeps its world alive,
Rain th reinforcement that helps it to survive.

Look into my mind and even in my soul,
Open up my hear and feel the love I hold,
It is a deep love that comes from within,
A true sincere love that God can only send.

My love is like an ocean
Seeing it with no end,
Causing waves of emotions
That ripple 'til they blend.

Dark is its depths that feel without sight,
Beauty is its surface that flickers in the light.
God is the substance that keeps my world alive,
You are the reinforcement that helps it to survive.

Penned by my hand on the 14th of Midsummer, in the year 66 MA.
