A warning for the battle to come

-A warning of the battle to come-

Take heed my comrades.
An unseen foe is on the prowl
To turn the undead back to mortal
Darkness all around

They will take you by surprise
And you might be overcome
But yet they will be scarred
By the rising of the sun

They are not living,
They are not dead
They are composed of all the fears
Living in your head

They thrive where all the shadows lie
To enter is certain death
A groan and a muffled thud
Takes away your breath

Take heed my warning, fellow Aetolians
I learned of this in another realm
Unite as one
Please, for my sake, for I am overcome

They use the shadows as their weapons
More deadly than the vamps
and as I fear, we'll all die
So leave light, at night by your camps

They are pure evil, not of this world
they use deciet, trickery, and assassination too
I'm sure that by the end
The day you were born, is a day that you will rue

So join Ashtanites, Shallamese, and Bloodlochians
All guilds prepare for battle
That tries men's souls
So, don't be slaughtered like cattle

"Behold, you know not when I am coming, For I will come like a thief in
the night. Silent and Unseen."

Take heed my fellow Aetolians
This omen is not good
For if you survive this battle
You will also have shed your blood

Penned by my hand on the 1st of Slyphian, in the year 124 MA.
